Xero runs on your normal web browser so you don’t need to install any software. Xero also works across mobile devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
To start using Xero, please check you are using one these supported browers.
- Internet Explorer (IE) 7 or newer
- Mozilla Firefox (FF) 3 or newer
- Safari 3 or newer
- Google Chrome.
You must also activate JavaScript before you can log in and let your browser accept cookies. Xero also recommends you install or update Flash player so you can see Xero’s interactive graphs as well as clearing your cache and cookies.
Once you have these programs or settings organised for your computer, you will not need to do any of this again to use Xero.
